Yehliu Geopark

The total length from the entrance of Yehliu Geopark to the front of the headland is about 1.7 kilometers, and the widest point is less than 300 meters. Because the direction of the coast extension is almost perpendicular to the stratigraphic tectonic line, and the influence of geological processes such as wave erosion, rock weathering, plate movement and tectonic movement, it has produced a rare topography and geological landscape in the world. Yehliu Geopark is divided into three areas: the first area is the main concentration area of mushroom rock, ginger stone and candlestick stone. In addition to observing the evolution process of mushroom rocks, you can also enjoy the famous candlestick stones, ice cream stones, ginger stones, pot holes, dissolution disks and joints. The second arrondissement is most famous for the Queen's Head. In this area, you can enjoy a small landscape composed of fairy shoes, dragon head stones, diamonds, earth stones, etc., as well as mushroom rocks, clumps, and nodules. this area is also an important ecological conservation and protection area in Yehliu Geopark.
